Tarter Econometrics was founded on the observation that even small repositories of data in the hands of an expert modeler can revolutionize businesses and even entire industries. Every day, companies spend a tremendous volume of energy and capital to stockpile vast stores of data that never reaches its potential for achieving critical business objectives.
Applied mathematicians have long anticipated the current era of plentiful data, but few have the proper background to build the necessary bridges between business processes and complex mathematical theories. Nevertheless, even the simplest frameworks applied mathematics offers have the ability to transform the profit models of most firms. Tarter Econometrics was established with the objective of transforming raw data into powerful, comprehensible business information that produces measurable results.
Many companies find themselves inhibited by legacy software packages and dated database architectures, while other companies soar ahead on stable, scalable frameworks. Without question, the ability to rapidly access the data you need to calibrate models and make business decisions is paramount to achieving your vision.
Tarter Econometrics specializes in providing end-to-end modeling and analysis solutions. After studying your business objectives and meeting with your management teams, we will develop a data warehouse that meets your needs and will support your analysis tools for years to come. On every project, we witness the importance of good data engineering, and we can help your firm navigate this profitable field.
Tarter Econometrics was founded by Madison Sean Tarter, who previously served as Director of Quantitative Research for Mentor Investment Group, a leading east coast investment firm, which was recently acquired by Wachovia. Sean's solid theoretical background and creative applications in econometric modeling, analytics systems, market forecasting, and supply chain management have also led to key successes for various firms in the energy and technology sectors. Since its inception, his practical focus and vibrant enthusiasm for mathematics have formed the bedrock of the evolving vision and corporate culture of Tarter Econometrics. Sean holds an M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and Modeling from the College of William and Mary, where he also received High Honors for his undergraduate research in A.I. algorithms and econometric analysis.
